Ashmore State School uses SeeSaw regularly so students can share their work with their parents and carers.
Seesaw is a simple way for teachers and students to record and share what's happening in the classroom.
Seesaw gives students a place to document their learning, be creative and learn how to use technology.
Each student gets their own journal and will add things to it, like photos, videos, drawings, or notes.
How you as a parent or carer access SeeSaw at home, you must first install either Google Chrome or Mozilla FireFox onto your computer. If you have an Apple or an Android device such as phones or iPads, you can download the app from the App Store on iOS or Play Store on Android.
Once you have accessed SeeSaw. You can then head to the link provided by your Classroom Teacher or scan the QR Code on the family invite form handed to you by your Classroom Teacher.
When there are new Seesaw posts by your child, families can be notified via app notification, email or SMS.
Parents are only notified about their own child’s work, and all data is safe and secure.
If you have any questions about SeeSaw or would like further information, their website has a Help Center which can answer all your questions - https://help.seesaw.me/hc/en-us
