The music program here at Ashmore SS offers lessons in performance and composition, helping students to demonstrate their understanding of the elements of music. From Prep to Year 6, we're fostering creativity and musical excellence.
We're thrilled to announce that our Strings Ensemble and Concert Band received outstanding gold ratings at the 2024 Fanfare. The Concert Band were also regional finalists at Fanfare.
Our Beginner and Concert bands represent the school at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod.
Throughout the year we have performances by Musica Viva for Grades Prep to Year 6.
