Outside
School Hours Care (OSHC) is licensed for 100 places and is owned by the Ashmore
SS P&C Association. Our service aims
to provide a friendly, safe, secure and nurturing environment that gives
children the opportunities to grow, learn and develop lasting friendships and
memories. Ashmore P&C OSHC also aims to foster an environment that
celebrates diversity and interdependence.
The service provides children with a
well-balanced nutritious breakfast, afternoon tea and late snack (for children
here after 6:00pm) based on guidelines surrounding healthy eating for Primary
Aged Children. All are prepared fresh daily and contain no nuts or nut products
as we are a nut free service.
Our services programs and routines
based on the National Quality framework (My Time Our Place) with the emphasis
on each child having the freedom to explore, discover and chose activities and
experiences based on their skills, needs, interests and capabilities. The
services programs also aim to foster potential and culture allowing each child
to invent and construct their own learning opportunities within the
environment.
Ashmore P&C OSHC is operated by
qualified and experienced educators, who have currently first aid, CPR, Asthma
management and Anaphylaxis management training. All educators hold current blue
cards.
Ashmore P&C OSHC provides both permanent and casual care options.
Operational hours are:
Before School Care: 6:30am-9:00am
Afternoon School
Care: 3:00pm-6:30pm
Vacation Care/Pupil Free Days: 6:30am-6:30pm
Vacation Care Incursion/Excursion Days: 6:30am-6:30pm
