We offer a range of targeted intervention programs, plans and provisions for students requiring additional supports, so they are able to access the curriculum and learning environment alongside their peers. The Inclusive Education Team (IET) consists of the Head of Student Support Services (HoSSS), Guidance Officer, Inclusive Education Teachers, Inclusive Education Teacher Aides, Speech & Language Pathologist and Chaplain.
Ashmore State School, utilises the expertise of Regional AVTs, nurses, OT, Physiotherapist & advisors.
Our inclusive education team works alongside classroom teachers, parents/guardians and the wider community for students with diverse learning needs, to create support plans and adjustments that are uniquely individualised for each student.
